Olivia was inspired by her principal and the Feed-A-Friend drive as a Kindergarten student. She came home and eagerly asked her parents if she could invite families over for dinner who did not have food. Instead, her parents helped her formulate a plan using social media to collect items for New Hope Ministries in Pennsylvania. The first year she had a goal of 100 items, but was incredibly surprised by the community support for her cause. She collected over 1000 items that first year.
Every year in February Olivia hosts her annual food drive, collecting personal care and food items for New Hope Ministries. She has collected over 9,000 items since beginning in 2022. She hopes to continue this annual tradition of helping others during the winter months when food donations are typically low at our local pantries.
